Baptism
If you have trusted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you are encouraged to follow in believer's baptism.
Why should you be baptized? Water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life.
We have a baptismal service the first Sunday morning of every month. Baptismal candidates are asked to meet in the Broadbent Prayer Room at 10:00 a.m. This room is located in the Senior Adult wing of Abba's House.
We will have a special baptism service on the following Sunday mornings:
2013
June 23
July 7
August 4
September 1
October 6
November 3
December 1
Usually baptismal robes are provided. However, you will need to bring a change of undergarments, make-up, hair dryer, etc. (anything you need to prepare yourself for the service).
Whenever we have a regular Sunday evening service, we will also have a baptismal service. Baptismal candidates are asked to meet in the Broadbent Prayer Room at 5:15 p.m. We do not have an evening baptism scheduled for the next few weeks. Please continue to check our website as we will update our baptism schedule.
If you have any questions, please call (423) 877-6462 ext.259.
