Arts/Worship at Abba's House
The Zadok Choir sings most weeks in the Sunday morning worship service. It is comprised of worshippers from high school through seasoned adults. The choir is made up of non-auditioned members; however, faithful attendance and the ability to blend with others are both mandatory. They rehearse on Wednesday nights at 8:00pm in the choir room on the 3rd floor of Abba's House.
The instrumental group at Abba’s House is made up of all sorts of musicians from brass to strings to guitar and drums. If you have played or currently play an instrument, we are interested in talking to you about being a part of Zadok Ministries! They rehearse on Wednesday nights at 8:00pm in the orchestra room on the 1st floor of Abba's House.
Abba's House Student Choir is made up of 9th to 12th graders and meets on Sunday afternoons from 1:30-2:30 in the choir room. The Student Choir leads worship several times a year in the main Sunday service and does events outside of the church.
A2Z is the name of our Middle School Choir, and as the name says, it covers everything, A-Z, related to the arts -- worship, drama, art, you name it. This group leads worship in our services occasionally and presents an annual Broadway-style dinner theater. They meet on Sunday afternoons from 2:00-3:00PM in W-131.
Student Praise Band
The Student Praise Band is made up of student worship leaders and musicians who are passionately anointed and who desire to see our nation radically transformed for Jesus Christ. They rehearse from 2:30-3:30 on Sundays in the Awaken Worship Center.
Company D is the training ground for children grades K-5. They not only learn the basics of music, but have a weekly worship experience along with performance opportunities throughout the year. They rehearse on Wednesdays from 7:00-7:45pm.
Our littlest worshippers are the Wee Cruits. These budding songbirds begin at age 3 until they enter kindergarten. They rehearse on Wednesdays from 7:15-7:45pm.
The adult Ekklesia Dance Ministry dancers for our worship services go through extensive training and Bible study to prepare to dance before the Lord in worship.
Occasionally we have artists who paint and draw what they feel the Lord is doing during our worship services. We also have artists, designers, and sculptors who make works of art for the glory of God that are displayed throughout the year at Abba’s House.
Actors and actresses participate in dramas in our services and various events at Abba’s House from luncheons to large scale, full-length dramas and musicals.
